Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is EPS?
A: Electric Power Steering conversions offer a modern upgrade to older cars, weather still internal combustion powered, alternative fuel, or EV. This is a digital solution to a previously analog problem. We started using these systems in high end street cars and race cars to help aid in tunability as well as the packaging of the power steering to clear up space for other primary components. Our systems are entirely designed in house and tested extensively before production use.
Q: What services do you offer?
A: We specialize in electrification ancillary processes as well as service, maintenance, R&D, calibrations and track day support, and prototype consulting through production.
Q: How do I order?
A: Contact us here.
Q: Will you make an EPS kit for my car?
A: We currently have a schedule of cars coming up, such as the R32, R34, and S15. But feel free to ask us about your project.

Q: What is the service schedule of the EPS motor?
A: Our EPS motors do not require service intervals. If involved in an impact effecting steering, your unit can be sent to us for inspection and repairs..
Q: What are the major advantages of EPS?
A: By eliminating hydraulic power steering, you relieve strain on the belt driven components, remove the parasitic loss from the belt drive, and remove another fluid component from the bay, freeing up space or weight bias.
Q: How much will a wiring harness cost?
A: All of our harness are custom and built to suit. We do not have a flat rate and only charge hourly plus materials.

Q: Why do I need a manual steering rack?
A: When converting to electric power steering, your steering rack must be freed of fluid seals and fluid to permit smooth steering.

Q: Will my standard alternator work with EPS?
A: Most standard alternators will produce enough current to work with our system. A properly sized, good condition battery will be the biggest factor in proper operation. This will vary based on the application.
